Description: Vintage 1917 Sears US Cavalry Saddle Bag Shoulder BagMy inspiration for this project is the glory days of the late 1960s when the distinct style of the American West became ingrained into the counter culture vibe. I began with a 1917 Sears WW1 era US Cavalry saddle bag, split the sides and added the strap to create a unique one-of-a-kind shoulder bag that looks amazing. The strap is created from Wicket & Craig Benning Garrison Belt straps fitted with a classic snaffle horse bit and vintage brass equestrian rings. The bag hangs at waist length. Given that the bag is over 100 years old, expect some wear and marks. It's an authentic character piece and one which I am proud to offer.
