Description: Here is a Vintage 1900's Brass Era Driving Lamp / Light - by Gray & Davis. The number 3 is stamped into the top hood. I suspect this is the model number. We acquired a large lot of these so please check out our ebay store and our other listings. This light is missing the lower section up to and including the wick assembly. Other than that it is in very good condition. There are some small dings here and there but these are few and minor. One of the glass lenses has a crack (small beak) in the glass in the top right corner (the size of a pea....minor). The inside is in nice shape all around and has yet to be buffed (will clean up better yet). The red glass jewel cut reflector has some crazing around the outer edge but still displays well and is firmly in tact. The door latch and hinges function as they should. I looked this light over pretty close and I do not see any cracks, splits, or repairs in the brass. Overall, a nice original lamp with excellent potential.
