The surface of the cylindrical-shaped terminals are each encompassed with vertical ribbed decoration. These collectable gold cufflinks conjoin with a plain bar with a rope twist decorated receiver, and secure with a sprung hinge and peg fastening. One functional peg style terminal detaches from each cufflink; this mechanism indicates the high quality of the cufflinks. The bars are hallmarked with the maker's mark (Cartier) and the serial number (015616).
