Description: Up for sale is View of the Climate and Soil of the United States of America 1804. Maps and engravings present. J Johnson 1804. London. So I went through this and the engravings and illustrations all seem to be here. Great maps and they are fold out and large. Very rare piece with great engravings and fold outs . Book measures approximately 5.5 x 8.5 inches and foldout engravings vary in size. Map of US is large and in and of itself worthy of framing. Overall in good condition with previous owner book plates and writing. Front and rear boards not attached. Rear board is not original to the book Title page and a few others attached to front board and not the main book. Spilt at early center. Title page has significant loss at top. Interior though is in nice shape, Maps and foldouts in very good shape. Wear to the boards, light browning and other dings here and there. NO rear board! If you are looking for something specific let me know. Again note boards are not attached but interior and maps are in good condition. Priced accordingly. This is a good piece with contents very much in nice shape but needs to be fixed at binding. Hence price. Please email with questions and see my store for other great items
