Description: Vietnam War Era Navy Pilot Winter Flying Suit Flight Jacket WEPS, BuWep 36R This is a Vietnam War era U.S.Navy pilot's winter flying suit jacket or Weps jacket. These were a favorite of pilot's for their warmth and light weight. This Jacket is a Size 36 Regular and it was manufactured in the early 1960's by Aviator's Equipment Corp. The zipper is stuck from corrosion? and it is missing a couple of teeth that I have shown in the photos. Most likely the zipper will need replaced. The knit parts look pretty good with only a couple of holes in the collar. The lining looks good. The outside shell has small stains from normal flight use. It has a spot of a couple inches where a seam has come unsewed inside one of the back pleats. The jacket is sold as is and needs some repairs, but could be a nice vintage jacket with a little work. Payment must be received within 7 days of auction close or high bidder loses all right to property. I will ship items by either FEDEX ground or USPS which ever is cheaper and I will combine multiple items to save shipping. I only charge actual postage as close as I can figure it without losing money. I don't charge any handling or packing fees.
