Description: This plaque measures approximately 8" x 4" and commemorates the re-building of the Operation Arc Light missions over South East Asia during the Vietnam War. This memorial to the crewmen of these missions was placed in Guam in the 1970's. Due to corrosion of the 5-52 on display, the ship was replaced in the 1980's. This plaque commemorates the efforts of the individuals responsible for the restoration of the monument and THE ORIGINAL CREW MEMBERS THAT FLEW THESE MISSIONS. A lacquer has been poured over the brass to prevent corrosion. Please see all photos for complete details. 2247
