Description: Victorian Trade Card Sapolio, soap-like product made by Enoch Morgan's Sons. The card is round, in the shape/image of a tambourine. Measures about 3 inches in diameter. Late 1800's. This card is in fair condition. The upper right side of the circle is torn but still hanging on with a nick out of that piece. There's also a tear on the right side edge moving about 1/4 toward the center. There are old glue, torn paper marks on the back indicating that it had been at one time pasted into a scrap book as they often were back in Victorian times. Because of the torn back verbiage, we have included here what the card actually says which is not all readable: One CakeWill do more workand will do it better thanThree Cakes of any other MINERALor SCOURING SOAP EVER MADE.
