Description: Handsome antique Victorian 1870s mantel clock entitled Jacot’s Regulator features a walnut case, carved and incised with ornate designs, surrounding an arched glass door painted with two white heraldic royalty figures. The clock itself features a removable face with Roman numerals, a pendulum with fast and slow settings, and two bells. We believe the clock mechanisms may have been made by the E.N. Welch Manufacturing Co. Patented September 4, 1877. Time and strike movement. Has the original brass pendulum with paper label. Retains original door tablet and key. No repairs. Untested.
