ExquisiteAntique Vintage 19th Century German Hanau Silver & Vermeil Ornate Over the Cup Tea Strainer Floral Cherubs Pattern This is a gorgeous antique vintage German fine .800 silver & vermeil over the cup tea strainer made in Hanau Region of Germany, late 19th century. Having a gilt interior, a wide ornate border, richly decorated with repousse scroll and floral patterns as well as cherub figures. This lovely tea strainer measures 5 1/4" long, 3 3/8" in diameter including border, and 1" deep. Weighs 54.6 grams or 1.75 oz Troy. Hallmarked with the German standard mark. Stamped "B, key symbol, L, 800, crescent moon and crown. This beautiful tea strainer with clear, crisp details is in very good original condition with general wear commensurate with age and use, please see pics. No monograms, removals, repairs or alterations. This silver tea strainer will make a great addition to any silver collection. Feel free to email me with any questions.
