A standard ball is only 2 1/4 -inch. Attached is a picture of the 5-inch ball next to a standard 2 1/4-inch ball. The 2 1/4-inch ball does NOT come with the purchase of the 5-inch ball. This 5-inch ball was specifically made for me by a Billiard Ball Manufacturer. Manufacturer Identification is a trade secret. The cost of this ball is high to some people, but it costs quite a bit to have a manufacturer specifically make a special order like this. I have sold a few in the past and buyers have used them as autograph balls for pool tournaments. They have made fantastic trophies out of them, and others simply have just placed them in the billiard rooms as conversation pieces. Can be used or shown anyway you wish. The uniqueness alone is worth the purchase. This is the last of the stock on these balls. This ball weighs 3 pounds 8 ounces. Standard 2 1/4" ball weighs approx. 6 ounces.
