Description: Very Rare Zenith 1937 Tombstone Model 10-S-130 Description: The Zenith 10-S-130 (10S130) is a very commanding Tombstone radio that was Zenith's top-of-the-line table model for 1937. Demanding its attention when viewing the cabinet is the "squared circle" edition of the "big black dial". Accented with vented side pilasters and an upper grill area creating a clean and simple machine like appearance. Impressing with a curved stepped top echoing the Art Deco architectural influence of the day. Aside from the Zenith Stratosphere 1000Z, for us, this is visually one of the most appealing of the large black-dial Zenith table top radios. Zenith's 1937 radios came to be known as "All Featured" because of their extensive list of attributes.A rare must have for any established or beginning Zenith collector. Some scratches appear on radio as expected from use and age. Small section on right rear has veneer missing (Photo #11)Left rear has two small shallow circle indents (Photo #12).Grill cloth needs replacing. Dial glass has no cracks and is in tact. Chassis dial face sits back a bit as if not set properly when put back into radio (Photo #6).Dial face and arrow are in good condition. Dial knob moves when turned but needle does not move.Plastic dial face behind "Voice Music-High Fidelity" window has section missing but will be included with radio (Photo #14). This knob does turn. Plastic dial face behind "Sensitivity Control" window has section missing. This knob does turn. The two bottom windows, "Volume Increase" and "Band Indicator" appear to have the plastic dials in tact, however, we can not say for certain as we are unable to see the lower interior. These knobs do turn as do the dials.Four (4) dial knobs are missing.Label on bottom is not fully in tact but does show radio model.Radio is untested as cord is frayed.
