Description: this is a newly forged long katana from Zuo Forge. this blade is forged from self smelted steel the same way tamahagane is produced. this blade is very long and heavy with a well shaped extended chu kissaki. extended chu kissaki masame itame hada with chikei nie deki midare hamon with sunagashi and kinsuji overall length: 42-1/8" nagasa: 31-1/2" motohaba: 1-1/4" sakihaba: 15/16" kasane: 1/4" sori: 3/4" kissaki: 2-1/2" this powerful long blade is ready to be mounted and used for iai, occasional cutting or appreciation. there are some kitae ware and small marks and stains as shown in the photos. the hamon is really well made and wide with lots of activities.
