This is the best toy for boys, men and Tomboys...The D10 is an excellent choice as a first live steam engine.It is a simple engine that is easy to operate and maintain while demonstrating how a steam engine works. This particular engine has been air tested (video). It should not give much trouble to operate on steam.It is complete with the exception of the original box that is missing. It is in very good condition but not perfect : there is a bit of light surface rust in a few places, mostly on the boiler housing (photos). Nothing terrible. It probably would brush off quite well and certainly does not affect the operation. This engine is mechanically very sound. You will need some solid fuel pellets (anywhere camping supplies are sold) and using solely distilled water is strongly recommended.
