At first glance, it's just a metal plate at the junction of the neck and the body. Seems fairly inconsequential until we realize...it's a metal plate at the junction of the neck and the body! A thicker neck plate offers more rigidity, and thus, greater potential for torque on the neck screws. The increased mass encourages vibration between the screws, body, and neck, increasing sustain and an enhanced fundamental note. Our neck plates are CNC machined from stainless steel, and bead blasted to an understated matte finish. Thickness and mass are almost twice that of a stock plate. Includes 4, high-quality Stainless Steel mounting screws bead blasted to match!
