Description: An authentic and impressive antique Art Deco, silverplate three piece tea service by Van Bergh Silver Plate Co. This antique three piece tea set was inherited form our Grandma Graham. It consists of a teapot, sugar bowl and cream jug / creamer. Each piece of this 1915-1920 Art Deco tea service has a plain rectangular form with in-curved corners. The surface of each piece is plain and un-embellished. The upper portion of the body and shoulders of each piece are plain and un-embellished.The teapot is fitted with a hinged cover surmounted by an impressive circular urn style finial. The set is fitted with the original plain angular handles with a carved scroll style thumb-piece.Maker: Van Bergh Co, before it became a subsidiary of Oneida in 1926. See all photos attached. Date: 1915-1920. Provenance: Family inheritance in Salt Lake City, Utah.Condition: This Art Deco tea set is in great condition for age. Full hallmarks struck to the underside of each piece are all very clear.
