Description: Up for sale is a U.S.S. IOWA V.J. Day Cruise Book Illustrated and issued to crew members of the ship prepared by their shipmates. In VERY GOOD condition with some yellowing from aging. The only marks is the name of the crew member the book was issued to. This 21 page booklet measures 8 1/4"x 11" and has photo images showing the signing of "Instrument of Surrender" plus other various photos taken of the ship's passage from Tokyo to its return to San Francisco. Included is a 6 page typed information packet of the USS IOWAs' exploits and characteristics probably from the ships print shop. See pictures for details and condition.
