Description: This neat, uncommon, one-off, sepia post card of a U.S. Navy sailor on leave in Japan was sent from Japan(most likely Yokohama, Kobe, or Nagasaki) to an Mr. B. F. Pybas, U.S.S. St. Louis, Bremerton, Washington, U.S.A., between 1906-14! The sailor wrote an interesting message, including the info that he would soon sail for Woosung, China, and that he was enjoying his time with the Japanese girls!! To continue, outside of some shortened perfs on the left and right side and bottom, the pink, 4-Sen Japanese definitive is in pretty good condition. Obviously, for whatever reason, the cancel from the Japanese post office is very light/faded. Lastly, as for the post card, itself, it's in pretty good condition for something more 110 years old! It's pretty clean. There are a number of creases in it(best seen from the front), and some of the corners are a bit rounded. The images on the front are still quite clear, though. Noted imperfections aside, this remains a really nifty piece of U.S. Naval postal history!
