Description: Description [Used] GIBSON / 1968 J-45 Cherry Red [S/N 905135] Made in 1968, Gibson J-45 Adjustable Cherry Red is now in stock. In the latter half of the 60's, only a very small number of ebony black and cherry red colors were produced as custom colors. Even at that time, it was a coloring that was available as a custom order color, so I think you wouldn't be disappointed if it was a specification that was easily available. The large pickguard that was typical in the 1950s was changed to a thicker pickguard in the mid-60s, and some even have the famous Gibson logo on them. This instrument is an individual that uses the white large pickguard with the Gibson logo. The upper belly bridge and adjustable wood saddle give off a lively and well-balanced light sound that has just the right amount of thud, and combined with the narrow neck with a nut width of approximately 40mm, you can fully enjoy playing with chord strokes. It has a sound that you can enjoy. Normally, the coloring would change over time to a state close to brown due to discoloration, but this instrument has been maintained in such good condition that you can fully enjoy the original cherry red color. The playing condition is well maintained, with the pegs replaced, the bridge reattached, and the neck reset, and the truss rod adjusted. A patch has been repaired at the body center from the inside of the body to the bridge to the end of the body, and cracks are found near the bridge, on the 6th string side, and near the binding on the 6th string side (near the constriction), but these cracks have not reached the wood. The paint is cracked, but there is no problem as it is a bracing area. In addition, there is some peeling of the paint on the shoulder on the 6th string side that exposes the wood (possibly burnt paint), and there is evidence that it has been fixed with touch-ups to prevent the peeling from spreading. Many of the vintage J-45s with coloring from the late 1960s have had parts replaced due to discoloration and aging, and the wood has been repaired, but this one is in very good condition. Therefore, this is a guitar that I still have the ability to play even more and improve the sound and appearance with my own hands. Many people may be looking for this Cherry Red Vintage 45, which is extremely rare and the price is rapidly rising. This is a very popular model, so if you are interested, please hurry. *Non-genuine hard case included ■Product rank: B: There are some scratches and signs of use, but there are no problems in normal use. ■Manufacturing year: 1968 ■Serial number: 905135 ■Case: Hard case/non-genuine ■Frets remaining: about 70% to 80% ■Truss rod: There is plenty of room in the tightening/loosening direction ■Neck condition: No problem ■Instructions: None ■Other accessories: None ■Note: Other accessories are only those shown in the image.
