Description: U.S. Navy Commissioning Pennants with 7 Stars WWI-WWII Era (1917-1945) The top pennant is from the USS Remey - DD688 it was given to my grandfather when it was decommissioned. I know that my family is somehow related to Rear Admiral George C. Remey, name sake of the ship. My father and I share the middle name Remey..The bottom pennant is from the USS Dickerson - DD157, also given to my grandfather. I know that my great uncle served on the Dickerson.My father inherited the pennants and framed them, I inherited them from him. They have been in storage for nearly eight years. The glass cracked when we moved last year, I carefully removed it. I know that I should care, but I have never had any interest in WWII US Naval history.. a collector should own these or possibly a Naval museum. Sale is as pictured, I will carefully package it and ship it UPS insured.
