Description: Original WW1 M-1912 .45 Cavalry Swivel Holster Condition: Excellent, with all of the stitching present and tight and the brown leather is still soft and supple, free from tears or cuts. All hardware is present and works fine but there is some oxidation. The holster has crackling of the leather on the top of the flap as well as some scratches, edge wear and indentations from use. The holster has been stamped 1 NY above the closure and B below, indicating the unit it was issued to during WW1. As is common with these holsters, it no longer has the original leather strap that would have been looped through the two loops on the back. The holster is marked Folsom Arms Co. New York on the back. It is an M-1912 holster with a swivel that would have been specifically issued to mounted soldiers. These original WW1 M1912 holsters are difficult to find, especially in this condition, so don't miss out on this one!
