Description: Original, unofficial patch for Operational Detachment Alpha (ODA) 176, A Company, 3rd Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group. Embroidered design with merrowed edge. One from a batch made for the unit by our shop in the late 1990s. Collectors note: Historical Military Sales has been making patches for SFODA Teams from 1st Special Forces Group for many years. We also produce unit insignia for 4th Battalion, 160th SOAR and for units from the 2nd Ranger Battalion. We are continuing to work with the individual Teams, but no longer produce overruns of any designs for resale. Our old stock is now depleted, so the limited quantities that remain will be offered for sale online and once they are gone there will be no more. Please note, many of our designs have been illegally copied by certain Ebay dealers located in the USA and abroad (Philippines). Those patches are NOT originals and at best can be considered collector copies. Rest assured that all patches being sold in our eBay shop are legitimate and were part of the original batches done for the individual Teams or units. We do not willingly sell copies, reproductions or fakes and when there is a doubt, we just don't list it. We do combine postage, so your shipping costs will not increase by much if you buy more than one patch.
