Description: Sterling silver demitasse 4 1/4" collector's spoon. The bowl has "World's Fair Cairo Street Souvenir" imprinted on it. The front stem has Columbus planting a flag and an image of one of his ships underneath. The back is plain with only "US Sterling" printed on it. I have been notified that this mark may mean that it is silverplate. There is a set of scuff marks on the back of the bowl. This is a rare spoon (at least I haven't seen one when doing research), and a good find from the 1890s. Please take a look at the photos for condition. This will be shipped in a bubble envelope. NOTE I have many souvenir spoons for sale currently, and I do combine shipping.
