I only ship on Monday afternoons to insure shortest travel time possible for aquatic pets. If your highs for temperatures are over 85 degrees, upgrading shipping to a Styrofoam cooler and ice pack is EXTREMELY encouraged. My cost is $10 for coolers and ice packs, but I split it and only ask for $3 for cooler and ice pack upgrade. I can only guarantee against DOA if you choose priority mail unless your in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Virginia, Wisconsin, Tennessee, West Virginia, or Pennsylvania....then I can guarantee against DOA with ground advantage because you will still recieve in 2-3 days) Also you need to upgrade to cooler and ice pack for $3 if your Temps are over 85 degrees to be guaranteed against DOA. You also need to be home to recieve the package the day it arrives. I can't be held responsible for live animals to sit for hours in the heat on porch or in mailbox.
