Description: UNIQUE HUGE Art Work display that was actually displayed back in late 1998 or early 1999 (well over 23 years ago) at the National Air and Space Museum during a rare book signing event by NASA Astronaut and the 4th Man to Walk on the Moon, Alan Bean. Art work / poster is HUGE and measures 25 " x 22" in size and is the book cover Artwork for his book, APOLLO and was displayed at the actual book signing event with Alan Bean. I attended the book signing event and of course had my copy of his book signed as with others and waited till the conclusion and made a special request of Mr. Bean. I asked how much he would sell me the book cover artwork poster that was on display and if I purchased it would he sign it for me. Well... long story short, Mr. Bean thought about it for a few seconds and we agreed on a price and he also graciously signed it for me non personalized (over 6" long signature) and added his Mission Apollo 12 in his hand as well with the same Gold Paint pen he used during the book signing itself (all as seen in my pictures posted). I see Alan Bean signed books and typical 8x10 photos signed and offered for sale, but nothing as unique and cool as this item. I had the item carefully shrink wrapped (fully removable and archival safe acid free materials) to protect it from the eliminates amd is ready to be framed and displayed by hte future owner. Item is from my personal NASA / Space collection that I am starting to downsize and part with. I know its authentically signed as I got it myself and will 100% guarantee the Alan Bean signature will pass PSA, JSA, or Beckett authentication services with no time limits .
