Characters and events depicted include Kings Cross identity John Ibrahim, former prostitute and undercover police agent Kim Hollingsworth, Kings Cross identities Louis Bayeh and Bill Bayeh which are better known as the Bayeh brothers, drug dealers Danny DK Karam and Benny Kassab, convicted murderer Michael Kanaan, bookmaker and racing identity George Freeman and his associate Lenny McPherson who reprise their roles from A Tale of Two Cities. The activities of corrupt Kings Cross police officers most notably Trevor Haken and Chook Fowler and their actions are mainly depicted in the series and some of these characters reprise their roles from the second season.
