Description: Uncommon 1950 Nitto Kogaku 4.8cm f3.5 "S Kominar-E" enlarging lens in bubble as shown, serial number 240126, made in Japan. While this looks great sitting on a shelf unfortunately one of the coatings in the rear group has decayed to haze so unless you're looking for a very low contrast print this isn't usable. Dated to 1950 via the company website (yes, it still exists, Google it) as that is when they started to make lenses and in 1951 the name was changed to Nittoh Kogaku (Nitto with an "h").
