This plane is known as "Red 13", as flown by Major Heinz Bar, who was the number 3 jet ace of WWII. I added a wartime photo of Red 13 that I found on the Internet. The Me-262 was the first operational jet fighter. It stunned the Allies when it first appeared in combat, and ushered in the jet age. This was a Limited Edition model. All the graphics and camouflage on this model are painted on, not decals. This is part of a Dogfight set that I am selling separately, so it does NOT come in the original box. However it has never been removed from the original shipping tray. I marked it as used because of the NO BOX. The label shown is for illustration only and is not included in the auction. Unfortunately the 21 Century Toy Company that made these is now out of business, so there won't be any more of these made.
