The cathedral, which is built in the Neo-Byzantine style, is notable both for its history and interior paintings, which are true masterpieces of art. A lot of money was donated for the construction of the cathedral, which lasted for 20 years – from 1862 until 1882. For more than 10 years, work was carried out on the interior decorations of the cathedral, the main treasures of which are its unique paintings.
