However, the CO meter does have a belt clip for hands-free monitoring. Other features include a MAX button that will display the highest reading detected while the meter was on and a HOLD button that freezes the current CO reading. The carbon monoxide meter's backlit display is helpful in dark environments to view readings, and after 30 minutes of inactivity, the CO detector will automatically power off. The LED light on the top of the COA2 illuminates and changes colors based on preset CO threshold levels as indicated below:0 to 1 ppm: white2 to 9 ppm: green10 to 34 ppm: blue> 35 ppm: redCarbon monoxide readings are viewed on the UEi COA2 CO detector meter’s digital backlit display or via the free App on compatible iOS and Android devices. The App shows in real time the ppm reading with the corresponding color level.
