The mugs are in good used shape without any chips, racks or crazing that I can see. Onoe of the mugs has a indentation on the handle which probably occurred during the manufacturing process. Both steins appear to be hand painted. The mug steins are 5 inches tall, and the top opening is 2/1/4 wide. The stein has the following German word, Kartenkunststuck which translates to card trick. I believe that the two mugs were made sometime in the 1970s or 1980s. Germany was reunited with East Germany in 1990.
