Description: These are two nice early 1950s Farmers Insurance Automobile Club license plate toppers. According to a Google overview; Automobile insurance clubs were organizations of auto owners that began as social clubs and later became service organizations. I am not sure how long such organizations lasted; but I am guessing that they were short lived. That is why these toppers have a timely historical significance. Due to their condition, they probably never topped a license plate. However, both the silver, white and red one (a photo makes it look black not silver. There is no black in the topper) & the red and dark cream one do have some 70 year storage marks. They look pretty good nevertheless. Either would look great on your vintage show car; or on a Farmers Insurance Agent’s desk. “Safe Travels!”
