Description: This listing is for two original magazine covers from the French fashion publication, La Mode. They are in distressed gilt matching frames, under glass and are mounted in complementary colour ways. We are only selling following our downsized house move and sadly they no longer have a place. The detail of each is stunning. The colours are so vibrant and they pair well. The frames are in excellent condition and the glass is in good order, no chips or cracks. The edition from January 11 1914 retains its visible fold mark across the middle. The 9th April 1911 edition has slight creases to each of the four corners. Please note that the green mount in the 1914 edition is a lighter shade than the images show. We had these displayed in our home alongside two other Antique prints from La Mode Artistique par Gustave Janet (c1880) which are currently listed under item number 335526425034. The frames measure 53cm x 46.5cm and are 20mm thick. The exposed covers within the mounts are 33cm x 26.5cm. Please look at all the images carefully as they form part of the description. They come from our smoke free home and are ready to hang. They each weigh c1.8kg and will be well packaged for safe transit via ParcelForce48 tracked. Thank you for your interest.
