Description: A really nice pair of 10-1/2" Vernon Kilns Plates from the Late '30's/Early '40's. The first shows General Douglas MacArthur. This must date from the 1942 period as his biography does not extend past the defense of The Philippines. The second shows Will Rogers and likely dates soon after his death in a plane crash in 1935. The condition is excellent with no chips, cracks or noticeable signs of use.
