Bone Valley is a geologic formation in west central Florida. This regions’ fossils are between 3 and 10 Million years old. Fossils from this area are well known for their unique tan-brown colors and are often very well preserved due to sediment they are encased in. Not all fossils from Bone Valley are tan-brown. I’ve found a variety of colors including pure white, black, grey, tan , brown, and some with blue hues.
