Description: Hand painted Moravian style redware pottery lamp by Turtle Creek Potters. Rare find, a good size and clearly signed and dated 1996. Brass trim with a hardwood top and base. Direct from a local downsizing this remains in very good condition, works fine and ready to enjoy. Please study photos, read condition report and send any questions. 25.5" to top of finial, 17.5" to top of socket, pottery is 12" tall, about 6.75" diameter at the middle. Excellent condition, displays very well. There is one small area on the bottom edge that appears to be a flea bite chip, possibly an original void in the redware, regardless very small-see close up. Otherwise: Pottery has no cracks, no chips, no repairs, no notable surface scratches, or glaze rubs. There is typical crazing throughout the glaze. Cord, socket and 3-way switch are working great. Brass fittings are pretty nice, lightest tarnishing but overall clean, finial looks great. The wooden top and base are free of chips or cracks, modest edge wear on the lid, some surface flaws on the base but both still look quite nice. See photos for the best description and send any questions you might have. Buyer to actual FedEx shipping charges, careful packaging and insurance included. THANKS FOR LOOKING!!!
