Description: TURN OFF THE MOON linenbacked Australian long daybill 1937 Charlie Ruggles 15x40 good: The poster had a 4" tear in the middle of the left border and several smaller tears and some areas of paper loss around the edges (including some small circular areas of paper loss at top and around the edges). There were light brown stains scattered around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
