Description: Turbinicarpus Viereckii ssp Neglectus L1159 is extremely rare and the whole population is formed by only a few specimens growing near the town of Jaumave, Sierra Salamanca, Jaumave valley, Tamaulipas. It is an attractive dwarf cactus covered with characteristic glassy white and black spines and whitish wool which is distinguished from the type species for having more numerous, but overall thinner and more flexible spines. The blooms are bright purple. This species is easy to cultivate in a very open mineral mix, (lots of pumice). Requires full sun or Light shade and careful watering to keep plant compact and maintain strong spines. Water sparingly during the growing season as they are sensitive to over watering. Keep dry in winter. Seed-grown this little cactus ships out bare root.
