A completely unused set of 4 Tuck's Gramophone Record Postcards in the original paper envelope. This is series B, featuring Birthday Songs. The envelope (6 x 4 inches) contains four three inch records mounted on pictorial postcards with four plain brown envelopes, and four additional card protectors with Raphael Tuck advertisements. The four songs on the records are: "Birthday Greetings", "Birthday Wishes", "Many Happy Returns of the Day", and "A Happy Birthday". The envelope is in attractive condition with some toning. All the postcards are in nice condition with slight bending and light toning to the writing surface (see pictures). In 1929 Raphael Tuck started to produce Gramophone Record Postcards. Each of the 3-inch discs played for around one minute and were either vocal, instrumental or orchestral arrangements. Provenance: This is a rare find of unused old shop stock.
