Perfect display pop for any cabin, den, fishing shack or other. We have sold some of the nicest largemouth bass (and other fish) mounts on eBay over the years, but are very selective in what we obtain to sell. We sell only the finest of taxidermy pieces as we consider them an artwork in themselves and this is an exceptional bass with great color and finish work by taxidermist. It measures 24.5" long as mounted, but that is with curved body and with tail not extended. This fish is most likely 26-26.5" if measured to true scale (as in a tournament, laid flat & tail extended). When we laid a cloth tape on body it was about 26". It has a 19" Girth, which and when plugged into a fish weight calculator at 26" L & 19" G, it is over 11 lbs, but we will go with what is on plaque. In any case, its an awesome trophy class fish. Even as mounted it is about 7.5 lbs, so very solid taxidermy work. At 10 lbs, 4 Oz it is equal to or greater than 10 US State Records & we think it could have weighed a little more. As noted we have other mounted bass for sale on eBay, including the one to the right of this one is some pictures. Both caught by same fisherman and mounted by same taxidermist. The fish is really in very good, but not mint condition. We only gently cleaned the fish after obtaining and you may wish to do some extra dusting. Other than a small imperfection in paint here and there, the fish is just awesome and firmly mounted to wood plaque. I would rate overall condition at an 8.5-9.0 and we are very picky. The art work is top rate, certainly in the 9+ range. We photographed with and without a flash to show how fish looks in different lighting. This is a real skin piece, not a replica. Please review all pictures taken for your consideration and use zoom feature if needed. We truly do consider and treat our taxidermy sales as treasures for a number of reasons.
