Description: For sale is a truly unique collectable from the 5/11/2019 Indians at Athletics game, won by the A's, 3-2. This specific ball was pitched by Cleveland's former starter, Trevor Bauer, for a called 3rd strike / strikeout vs A's Marcus Semien in the bottom of the 3rd inning. The ball was then reused for two pitches to the next batter, Jurickson Profar, then removed with a 0-2 count and subsequently removed from play & authenticated. This was one of 10Ks recorded by Bauer in the game and this ball was used to record the 994th K of Bauer's career. Authenticated balls such as this are sent mid-game to sale to the public and are sold by the team. The authentication is input by the on-site MLB authenticators, who apply the holograms and enter the details of the play. Authentications can be verified through the MLB.com site. This ball carries the hologram JD517552. I have attached a screen shot for your review of the MLB authentication serial number search result. 1-of-a-kind item! The plastic ball cube included. $12 USPS Priority insured shipping, thank you :)
