The ball was then reused for two pitches to the next batter, Jurickson Profar, then removed with a 0-2 count and subsequently removed from play & authenticated. This was one of 10Ks recorded by Bauer in the game and this ball was used to record the 994th K of Bauer's career. Authenticated balls such as this are sent mid-game to sale to the public and are sold by the team.
