With this sale you get-Approximately one 18-foot in length and 1" wide roll of tape. When tape is stretched applying almost twice that much in coverage. The tape is stretched 2X but no more than 3X while wrapping it as you stretch tape as you wrap the tree and over lapping the tape is how it bonds to itself. This roll is NEW but out of a bulk shipment. If you have missing bark by external damage or even if a deer has rubbed the bark off your tree, in most cases where your tree bark is missing it will stop the flow of food and nutrients from the roots up as it will dry out and die. I was born in the mountains and have been in the mountains all my life. I know a lot about trees, tree bark, and deer, which damage trees constantly because that is what deer do. I've also noticed deer seem to pick out a few trees and try and rub their horns against those same trees. So not only does this tape give you a real good shot of saving the tree it becomes a deterrent from deer. Deer have horns made of about the same as bone and they use trees to rub the velvet off their horns and a lot of times just to show their buck look at me rub my horns and shaking the tree. They like the sound and the power they show by rubbing trees with their horns and to take the velvet off but when this tape is on the tree no longer have a rough service and it’s not good for rubbing velvet off the deer horns and it does not give deer that sound from the rough service like bark, so they leave the tree and find another. If you like you can cut off any dead branches and when you’re wrapping the tree go around the cut off limb to let the start of a new branch begin but yet you’re still protection the missing bark everywhere else. Tape is clear in color, it looks kinda white in the picture but when on the tree it looks clearer, you can actually see the tree bark color through the tape. This tape is incredible in the things I've explained here. My “low budget/cheap” video shows you how to put it on and even what it looks like. I used a red tape to show up better on the video. I have treated this tape with an environmentally friendly insect repellent because insects are bad on opened bark trees. The shipping prices are for the lower 48 states only.
