Description: Here is a flat (staple and matches removed) unstruck front strike matchcover from the Downtown TraveLodge motel (AAA and Duncan Hines recommended the matchcover says on the inside) on the Pacific Highway which was formerly US Highway 101 in San Diego. This motel was only a couple of blocks from the Harbor. This matchcover is the green type with the original Sleepy Bear. The saddle says “Look for the Sleepy Bear”. There is no glue, tape or handwriting on the inside of this matchcover. This matchcover is in very good unstruck condition. I have about 50 TraveLodge matchcover listings on eBay right now and almost all are the green front strike type. Click on “Seller’s other items” to view all of my listings.
