Description: Up for auction is a beautiful framed USPS Special Edition Stamp Plate of Trans-Mississippi stamps. The Trans-Mississippi Expedition was held in Omaha, Nebraska in the fall of 1898. These stamps depict various important historical events of that era. The piece is nicely framed, but the dust cover hs been torn and worn. It would be easily replaced.
