Description: For sale is a pre owned model TL-SG108E smart switch universal version 6.6 . It comes with everything that came with the item when it was purchased. That is: -Switch -Manual -Original OEM charger (forgot to photograph - lmk if that’s an issue - else, I am claiming it here in the item description. Tried this out earlier this year just to see how it would be. Actually might be the best budget switch out right now. Theres literally no fan and the switch board is encased in a full metal chassis and runs with practically no noise. The device out of box is intended to be used in conjunction with their own branded software, which surprisingly offers a lot of options. I personally found it a tad redundant to have QoS at layer 2, when it’s on most routers and can definitely screw with things if you have that double configured. It does work fine for VLAN but only with TP Link hardware. Maybe it’s just me but I think it makes sense to ensure inter-operability between networking devices. Not really sure this is the best hardware for trunking multiple switches but I would still take this over unmanaged any day of the week. If you have questions feel free to reach out and ask.
