This is the 1889 silver crown coin from the United Kingdom. The coin displays Queen Victoria's bust as depicted on her Golden Jubilee coin of 1887 on the obverse and Saint George on his horse slaying the dragon on the reverse. The coin has the words "VOCTORIA D: G: BRITT. REG: F: D:" surrounding the queen's head wearing a crown and facing left on the obverse. The reverse displays the date 1889 under the image of Saint George slaying the dragon. the coin is nicely tones and is truly beautiful. It is KM 765, weighs ~28.2 grams of 0.925 silver (sterling) and is ~38.5 mm in diameter. Please carefully review the photos presented as they are part and parcel of our description.
