Description: TOMAHAWK #82A Sept/Oct 1962 issue GRADED 9.2 by CGC!!(with rare WHITE pages) As of 9/27/24, according to their Census, CGC has only ever graded 2 copies higher than this 9.2, and - considering it's age - not very many copies, at ANY grade, will have WHITE Pages, like this one. (and, since this copy DOES have WHITE pages, no CGC 9.2 can have a higher designation for page color, making it TIED for 3rd best copy in CGC's Census!!) Story by an Uncredited creator; with Art and Cover by FRED RAY!! See below for complete information on the condition of this beautifully-preserved classic issue Long term storage in a Mylar bag with an acid-free boarduntil submission to CGC in July of 2024!!This issue was bagged and boarded since purchase and (since 1990, when I learned about the superior results attainable with archival storage products and moved my entire collection into those products) it was preserved in a thick archival Mylar bag with a heavy-weight acid-free board, and stored in my smoke-free, pet-free, climate-controlled home. It was removed from its Mylar bag for the first time to be graded by CGC!! I submitted it to CGC to be graded and encased and it was returned, with an 9.2 Grade in September of 2024. This copy, both before and after processing by CGC, NEVER has spent a single day in an attic, basement or storage unit, (and it NEVER will as long as I own it!).Thanks to careful handling, and long-term storage in Mylar, and despite turning SIXTY-TWO YEARS old in 2024, this issue STILL looks beautiful, with VIBRANT front cover colors, especially in its brand new CGC holder with that 9.2 grade on a Universal Label showing that this copy still has WHITE pages!!
