I purchased these in the 80's-90's (I think)when Tom was still located in Northern Wisconsin. History of his work: Since returning from Vietnam, Tom has been making gorgeous Raku style ceramic pottery. His pieces are truly unique in style. While having a great Southwestern motif his pieces are painted by hand using Airbrush technique. The three pictured here have a southwestern landscape tone to them but distinctly different. Usually his work has tall peaks with a lower flat plane-like design and always with a cool texture. A rough hand-made top rim is pinched off typical of Krueger-style. It is then signed on the bottom “KRUEGER”.
