Description: Description Tokyo Olympic Games 1964 Poster No.3 Swimming B1 40.5 x 28.6 inch Designed by Yusaku Kamekura, Dai Nippon Printing Poster No. 3 was released on April 22, 1963 (70,000 copies were made). The production staff was the same as for the No. 2 poster. The photo shoot was held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium indoor pool, which had not yet been renovated. The model was William Yorzik of the United States (butterfly gold medalist at the 16th Melbourne Olympics), Masaru Furukawa (men's 200m breaststroke gold medalist at the 16th Melbourne Olympics), and others were tried and tested before the decision was made to use Koji Iwamoto of Waseda University.
