Designed for solid walls and floors the polypropylene material becomes in-bedded into the pores of the wall or floor providing tremendous resistance to pull out. The anchors also help absorb vibration and shock. Screws can be removed and reinserted without loss of holding power. These anchors are 1-7/8" long. Simply drill a 3/8" hole at least 1/2" longer than the fastener you intend to use, minimum of 2 inches. These anchors will accept from size 10 to size 18 (3/8) screws. For example, using a #14 sheet metal screw provides 1168 lbs of pull out strength in 3500psi concrete to 3570 lbs in 4000 psi concrete with a 3/8 lag bolt.
