Description: Offered here is a vintage classic Children's Nickel Pulp: "Tip Top Weekly No 704, "Dick Merriwell's Freshman Friend", October 9, 1909, approx. 11 1/8" X 8 1/8", Published by Street & Smith, New York. Issued weekly. In over-all good condiiton, some minor corner and edge chipping, covers mostly separated at the spine. Internal Oxidation on the edges, chipping and folds/tears on the front cover with mostly backside archival tape reinforcement. VERY THIN paper, minor corner chipping as seen. Came from the original family - purchased from a gentlemen whose great grandfather owned these originally.
